ABOUT 

Sophie Bergman is a freshman at the University of Miami Herbert Business School. Since high school she has been passionate about supporting those with food insecurity. As the President of Social Action of her temple's youth group, she became interested in helping underserved communities. In college, Sophie wanted to use her business knowledge and combine it to uplift those around her that needed resources to sustain their lives. Through UPLIFT, Sophie is committed to doing her part to address food insecurity and promote financial literacy to youth through community engagement, education, and empowerment. By working to alleviate food insecurity and develop financial skills in youth, Sophie hopes to support those in need and create lasting solutions to economic instability in underserved and underrepresented communities.
