
Financial Empowerment For Kids
Financial Empowerment For Kids is a workshop series that teaches youth the foundations of important financial skills so that they will become empowered to be the next generation of financially skilled individuals. The workshops will be taught through fun slideshows and interactive activities to make the lessons fun and engaging. The workshop series consists of four classes: Introduction to Financial Literacy; Budgeting, Expenses, and Savings; Methods of Payment, Investing; Entrepreneurship.

Financial Empowerment For Kids is a workshop series that teaches kids the foundations of important financial skills that they will carry with them for a lifetime. All the workshops will be taught through fun slideshows and interactive activities, such as Kahoot and Gimkit. The program is divided into the 4 parts below:
Class 1: Introduction to Financial Literacy
This class will cover what financial literacy means, how it applies to life, and why it is important. By learning the basics of money matters, kids will be empowered to start thinking about how to manage their money and have the foundation to learn about more advanced topics.
Class 2: Budgeting, Expenses, and Savings
This class will be covering the three essential financial skills needed to maintain financial stability. This workshop will cover the strategies and benefits of budgeting and saving. It will also teach how to avoid getting into debt and how to get out of debt.
Class 3: Methods of Payment, Investing
This class will cover the methods of payment and investing. Participants will learn about the different forms of payment, such as credit cards, debit cards, and payment apps. They will also be taught about how to invest savings, including allowances and earned money, as well as how adults invest. Additionally, safety measures will be taught on how to keep money safe.
Class 4: Entrepreneurship
This class will cover how to create your own business. Participants will learn the steps needed from raising money to marketing to pitching. We will explore the benefits and risks to starting your own business. Kids will participate in hands-on pitching activities, which will develop their entrepreneurship, along with communication skills.
After learning about the four concepts of budgeting, saving, payment methods, and entrepreneurship, kids will become empowered to be the next generation of financially skilled individuals.
